Cross-Curricular Alternative Energy Project
The Hurricanes recently completed a cross-curricular alternative energy research project. After learning about alternative sources of energy in Science class, students were assigned one form of energy to research. Students collaborated using Google Presentations to present the information they discovered to an "expert panel" during science class. They then wrote a persuasive essay in English class meant to convince their audience that their source of energy is the best option for the future.
