Song Parody Project

Students in Advanced English 8 chose a familiar song and rewrote the lyrics to retell the story of "The Ransom of Red Chief," focusing on ironic events in the plot. After working with a group to rewrite the lyrics, students planned and performed their songs via video or gave a live performance in class. Extra Credit Opportunity

Hurricanes interested in 5 extra credit points can take the open book quiz that was available in class today. It can also be downloaded and printed below. To earn full credit, all answers must be in complete sentences and include specific details and examples from the story. You may use any materials from class as well as your book. This opportunity is due the day we return from Thanksgiving break.
